"À travers l’examen du parcours et des œuvres de Fernand Deligny entre les années quarante et soixante, ce travail questionne la manière dont la philosophie peut penser l’enfant, l’institution et l’écriture. Il est nécessaire de situer la position spécifique de Deligny dans un édifice institutionnel en construction, celui de l’enfance en marge. Cette cartographie permet d’éclairer les lignes de forces qui s’en dégagent et de mettre en évidence celles qui constituent l’armature de la pensée délinéenne. L’histoire des professions qui gravitent autour de cette enfance (juges, psychiatres, éducateurs, journalistes), des valeurs, des conceptions politiques et de la langue spécifique qui se développent, s’allient ou s’affrontent en son sein à cette époque passe par l’étude de figures caractéristiques (Joubrel, Danan, Wallon, Le Guillant) et de leurs moyens d’action (postes, revues et journaux, associations). En analysant idéologies, constitution des institutions, rapports entre pratiques et discours, on peut situer les « tentatives » et l’écriture de Deligny et les enjeux philosophiques qu’elles impliquent."

"Through an examination of the career and works of Fernand Deligny between the 1940s and 1960s, this work questions the way in which philosophy can think about the child, the institution and the writing. It is necessary to situate Deligny's specific position in an institutional edifice under construction, that of childhood on the fringes.
This mapping helps to shed light on the lines of force that emerge from them and to highlight those that constitute the framework of Deligny’s thought. The history of the professions that revolve around this childhood (judges, psychiatrists, educators, journalists), the values, political conceptions and the specific language that developed, allied or clashed within it at this time passes by studying characteristic figures (Joubrel, Danan, Wallon, Le Guillant) and their means of action (posts, magazines and newspapers, associations). By analyzing ideologies, the constitution of institutions, the relationship between practices and discourse, we can locate the "attempts" and the writing of Deligny and the philosophical issues that they imply."
