Le congrès de la SCÉÉ de 2023 inclura certains éléments virtuels, mais il se déroulera principalement en présentiel. Les congressistes en ligne utiliseront la plateforme Forj pour accéder aux séances en mode virtuel et hybride. Les congressistes sur place pourront assister aux séances sur le campus ou, dans le cas des séances en format virtuel ou hybride, par le biais de la même plateforme Forj.
Programme :
As we shared in the Call for Proposals, CSSE 2023 will be held mostly in person at York University’s Keele campus, with some virtual elements available on the Swoogo platform organized by Congress. While CSSE now has two years of experience hosting online-only gatherings, we have no experience hosting a hybrid conference at CSSE’s scale, and a fully (or largely) hybrid gathering involves significant challenges.
Throughout the program, sessions are tagged as being either “In Person”, “Hybrid”, or “Online Only”. In-person sessions take place in rooms that may not be equipped with appropriate technology for a fully interactive hybrid session. Hybrid sessions take place in rooms that are equipped with appropriate technology, and can be accessed either inperson or via the Swoogo platform. Online only sessions take place exclusively via the Swoogo platform.
- To attend an in-person session, delegates and presenters are asked to join in-person in the room number listed. We are not able to support delegates “Zooming in” to in-person sessions due to infrastructure limitations. Campus and building maps will be available in the forthcoming CSSE Program App.
- To attend a hybrid session, delegates and presenters may choose to either join in-person (i.e., coming to the room listed), or virtually via the Swoogo platform. All delegates registered with CSSE will have access to the Swoogo platform. You will receive instructions for accessing and navigating the platform before the beginning of the conference. Hybrid sessions will be supported by a volunteer facilitator to help mediate the flow between online and in-person attendees.
- To attend an online-only session, access the Swoogo platform and join the session virtually. The only difference between hybrid sessions and online-only sessions is that there is no in-person space assigned to the session.
