NERA 2019 - 47th Annual Congress of the Nordic Educational Research Association - Education in a globalized world

Date :  du 06-03-2019 au 08-03-2019

Lieu :  Uppsala

Organisation :  Nordic Educational Research Association (NERA)

Programme :

We live in a time of rapid change, where globalization processes are affecting all education researchers and practitioners. The conference is framed by two driving questions connecting education and globalization: What implications does globalization have for education? And, what is the role of education in a globalized world? We invite contributions that engage with, but are not limited to, how globalization interplay with fundamental conditions of education, such as the selection of educational content and manners of teaching, student’s mobility and selection of educational programs, the formulation of educational policy and politics, and the role of educational assessment. In doing so, the conference will explore how educational research, practice, and policy are affected by contemporary societal changes.
